Take a refreshing trek along the ancient raga roads and beautiful yak trails of sound. Experience the power and pleasure of your voice with practices from east and west to bring your energy system and body into greater illumination and wholeness. Feel time expanding in the “notes between the notes” of Indian raga singing, and feel the beauty of the diverse relationships among the notes, and therefore in the diversity of our lives. World Chant/Kirtan Concert: 7-9pm
Join us for a blissful evening of bhakti chant, grooves, stories and more with Gina Salā and friends. Joining Gina are the very talented Niel Golden on tabla and the radiant Rebekah Demirel on response vocals. Gina has been chanting since her early childhood ashram years. With warmth, humor and devotion she weaves together traditional and modern chants, mantra, raga and stories, She draws the music forth naturally like water, from decades of teaching and study and a repertoire spanning 20 languages. Her passion is helping us sing ourselves awake to Who we are. Come as you are, participate as you like in this heart opening bhakti kirtan evening.

Gina Salā~ With a repertoire spanning 20 languages and performance credits that include Cirque du Soleil, the United Nations, festivals and huts, Gina Salā invites us into music and chant that open the heart and relax the mind. She began chanting in her early childhood ashram days. With warmth, humor and devotion, Gina Salá weaves together her passions for Indian classical music, refined Sanskrit, relaxing grooves, medicine songs and story in her offerings. She leads retreats and classes internationally and online, as well as Monday mantra and her signature Awakening Voice Power of Love Sound School. Her passion is helping us sing ourselves awake to the Magnificence within.
Niel Golden ~ Niel is a talented percussionist specializing in the subtle yet powerful, tuned, paired, Indian hand drums called Tabla. Niel is a disciple of the late tabla master, Pandit Sharda Sahai, the fifth generation leader of the Benares style of playing. Over more than four decades, he has performed and recorded with traditional Indian classical musicians, orchestras, choirs and roots and blues artists such as Xavier Rudd and Harry Manx. He has also been nominated for a Juno Award and a Western Canadian Music Award.
