Gina Salā is global vocalist, composer, chant leader and long-term teacher. Her repertoire spans 23 languages and performance credits include Cirque du Soleil, the United Nations, festivals and more. She has been chanting since her early childhood ashram years with Swami Sivananda Radha and deepened her practices in a Nepal monastery, and in her years with her gurus and teachers from around the world, in advaita (with H.W.L. Poonjaji aka "Papaji"), Sanskrit and sound tantra (Pt. Vagish Shastriji) and Dhrupad (Pt Ritwik Sanjalji). Based in Seattle, Gina Salā leads classes in chant and voice, Monday mantra sessions, transformative retreats in Hawaii (Chant, Drum, Yoga) and Mexico (Sound Wellness) as well as a year-long long Awakening Voice Power of Love Sound School focusing on raga, mantra, nada yoga beginning February 28 on line and in person. With warmth, humor and devotion, her passion is helping us to sing ourselves awake to Who we are, and to Divine Love.
